Stage6 is Dead

What now? Now that Stage6 has officially stated that it is going to shut down, it leads me to the question of who or what will replace it. It seems to just be a matter of time. S6 users (including myself) have grown accustom to the quality of video that S6 has provided over the years and I doubt many are willing to go back to using the YouTubes of the world. YouTube hasn't changed much since it opened its doors, but now with its new ownership (Google) it is showing signs of increasing video quality. This however is going to be a huge transition for YouTube and likely a bumpy ride. I feel that it is more likely that a divx replacement will emerge than a current video site to step up to the HD plate.

New Titleist Clubs

I have ordered a new set of clubs with Titleist. They should be available the first of March. I have had the opportunity to hit all the new irons and Scotty Cameron putters, and I must say they are phenomenal. The ZB and AP2 modles are by far my favorite. Check out some of the pictures I took of them.

A Horrible Round

I played golf yesterday with a few of the members at my club, and I shot a whopping 89. I had a 38 putts and way too many mental mistakes. The whole round I felt like I couldn't get my mind and my hands to perform the same task. It was a struggle and quite frankly an embarrassment. So to remedy the situation, I am going out to work early and practice for about two hours. I know I have things I need to work on, but most of them don't deal with swing mechanics.

Welcome

I know it looks pretty bare right now, but I will hopefully keep up with this blog. I think I've started over 10 blogs of varying topics, but failed to keep them alive. This one will encompass all the topics that I am passionate about including golf, politics, music, finance, technology, etc.... At this point any area of interest is fair game.
